Unlike Karl Fischer Titrations, since no chemical reagents are used, only moisture is measured (as chemical ubteraction is eliminated).  The FM-300 eliminates the cost of reagents and preparation necessary for Karl Fischer Titrations as well as the expensive disposal costs of the various chemical wastes.
